9 songs recorded, mixed, and mastered!! Whew! I forgot how hard studio work is. But, they sound awesome and we are thrilled. Now comes some of the production stuff. We still haven't been able to agree on a CD cover...I guess that happens. We're looking for a graphic artist who would like to work on this so if anyone knows someone, feel free to send them our way.
Looking forward to the show at Roosters Roadhouse on Friday, Feb. 26th. LIPSHOK hasn't played there in a long time, and Roosters has got a great stage, lights, and a big sound system. Not like the old days where we had to haul all that equipment ourselves...
We're planning a CD release party/show as well. Gonna be a lot of fun, and we have lots of music to play! We already have 3 CDs of material, (yeah, Scarlett, that's me, just can't seem to stop writing and the boys love creating their parts...) so we'll be getting to go to the studio again soon.
Thanks for all the support and friendship over the years. LIPSHOK has been a journey for me, and where we're going next, well, I don't know. And it doesn't matter anyway. As long as we get to keep playing and recording music, that's the most important!
